Welcome to the website of Academy of Advanced Cosmetics (“AAC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website [www.aactraining.com] (the “Site”), as well as your purchase of courses, services, digital products, and other offerings from AAC.
By accessing or using the Site, enrolling in any course, or purchasing any product or service from AAC, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase from us.

1. Eligibility
By using the Site or registering for a course, you represent that:

You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction); or

You are a parent/guardian enrolling a minor and have full legal authority to do so; and

You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
Some courses, procedures, or certifications may have additional prerequisites or licensing requirements as specified on the course description page.

2. Educational & Training Disclaimer
AAC provides educational and training services in permanent makeup, paramedical tattooing, and related fields. We do not guarantee:

Employment or job placement;

Any specific income level or business results;

That you will pass any state or local licensing exam;

That you will qualify for a license in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements in your state/country before practicing any procedures learned in our courses.

3. Registration, Accounts & Student Information
When you enroll in a course or create an account on our Site, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information;

Keep your login credentials confidential;

Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or enrollment if we believe you have violated these Terms or provided false or misleading information.

4. Payments, Pricing & Financing
a. Pricing
All prices are listed in [USD] unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already paid in full.
b. Payments & Deposits

Some courses require a non-refundable deposit to reserve your seat.

Remaining balances (if applicable) must be paid by the due date specified in your enrollment confirmation or on the course page.

Failure to pay by the deadline may result in loss of your seat and forfeiture of any deposit paid.
c. Payment Plans & Financing
We may offer payment plans or third-party financing options (e.g., [SweetPay or other partner]). By choosing these options, you agree to the terms and conditions of the third-party provider. AAC is not responsible for any decisions or actions of such providers.

5. Course Scheduling, Models & Attendance
a. Course Dates & Changes
We strive to hold all courses as scheduled, but we reserve the right to:

Reschedule or cancel a course due to low enrollment, instructor availability, emergencies, or other circumstances;

Substitute instructors, adjust the schedule, or modify the course format as needed.
If AAC cancels or significantly reschedules a course, we will offer options such as rescheduling, transferring to a future date, or applying a credit according to our Refund Policy.
b. Attendance Requirement
Students are expected to:

Arrive on time;
-
Attend all required days/hours of training;
-
Participate fully in both theory and hands-on practice.
Failure to attend required portions of the course may impact your ability to receive a certificate of completion.
c. Models
Many courses involve live models. You may be required to:
-
Provide your own model(s) who meet AAC’s medical and procedural criteria OR
-
Work on models provided by AAC, if available and as specified in course details.
All procedures are performed under instructor supervision, and AAC reserves the right to approve or reject a model based on health or safety concerns.

6. Professional Conduct & Dismissal
AAC maintains a professional learning environment. We reserve the right to dismiss any student or guest from the premises or from a course, without refund, for:

Disruptive, unsafe, or unprofessional behavior;

Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language;
-
Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol;
-
Violating health, safety, or sanitation protocols.

7. Intellectual Property
All content provided by AAC, including but not limited to:

Course materials, manuals, handouts, and workbooks;

Videos, slides, and online training content;
-
Logos, trademarks, brand names, and graphics;

Text, images, and content on the Site,
is the intellectual property of AAC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You agree that you will not:

Copy, reproduce, record, or distribute course materials in any form without our express written permission;

Resell, share, or post AAC’s proprietary training materials online;

Use AAC’s name, logo, or content to represent yourself as affiliated with AAC without written authorization.
Limited personal use is granted for your own training and reference only.

8. Digital Products & Online Access
For online courses, digital downloads, and virtual trainings:

Access credentials are for your personal use only and may not be shared, sold, or transferred;

Unauthorized sharing or distribution may result in immediate revocation of access without refund;

Digital products are typically non-refundable (see Refund Policy).
We strive to maintain uninterrupted access but cannot guarantee that our Site or online platforms will always be available or error-free.

9. Health, Safety & Contraindications
Our training includes procedures that may involve needles, pigments, skin treatments, and other tools. You agree that:

You will follow all instructor guidelines, sanitation protocols, and safety rules;

You will not attempt procedures you do not feel adequately trained or qualified to perform;

You will comply with all health and safety regulations required by your jurisdiction.
When working on models or clients, it is your responsibility to:

Conduct proper intake and consultation;

Review contraindications and obtain informed consent;

Decline or postpone treatment when appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

AAC, its owners, instructors, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, courses, products, or services;

AAC’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount you paid for the specific course, product, or service giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold AAC harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

Your services provided to clients after completing our courses;

Your failure to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
